Description:
Bommidaya Mukkala Pulusu is special in Andhra. Bommidaya is name of one variety of fish. This can be served with steamed white rice.
Ingredients:
Tamarind: 1 Big Lemon size
Onions: ¼ Kg
Green Chilies: 4
Oil: 4 table spoons
Ginger-Garlic Paste: 2 spoons
Turmeric Powder: Little
Chili Powder: 2 spoons
Salt: As required
Bommidayalu (Big size): ½ Kg cleaned slices
Garam Masala: 2 spoons
Curry Leaves: 5-10 Leaves
Coriander leaves: little (kottimeera)
Method of Preparation:
- Soak Tamarind in sufficient water for 15 min and keep it aside.
- Grind onion, Curry Leaves as paste and keep it aside.
- Cut Green Chilies into slices and keep aside.
- Heat oil in tava, and then add Onion Paste and green chilies.
- Fry until it turns to golden color.
- Add Ginger Garlic paste to it and fry it.
- Add Turmeric, Chilli powder and salt (as required) to above mixture.
- Add Bommidaya fish slices to above mixture and mix without breaking the slices. (You can also marinate fish slices with little chilly powder, salt, turmeric before adding to mixture).
- Add soaked tamarind water to above mixture, mix carefully and cover with lid. Stir occasionally to make sure the gravy does not stick to the tava.
- Once cooked, remove the lid and add garam masala and mix it well.
- Cook until gravy comes closer and thick.
- At last, garnish the Bommidaya Pulusu with coriander leaves.
- Ready…to EAT.

Description:
Snake Gourd is rarely used vegetable. Snake Gourd with sesame seeds increases the taste of Snake Gourd. In telugu it is called as potalakaya Nuvvu Papu curry. This can be served with steamed white rice.
Ingredients:
Snake Gourd : 1
Oil : 3 table spoons
Mustard : ½ spoon
Curry Leaves : 5-10 leaves
Turmeric Powder : Little
Sesame seeds : ½ cup (Nuvvulu)
Red Chilies : 6
Jeera : ½ spoon
Garlic : 8 Cloves
Salt : As required
Coriander Leaves : As Required.
Method of Preparation:
- Cut Snake Gourd into finely chopped and keep aside.
- Heat oil in tava, fry Mustard, Curry Leaves.
- Add Snake gourd, Turmeric Powder and Mix it.
- Close the Lid and cook for 10 mins.
- In same time fry Sesame seeds and Red chilies in another tava without Oil.
- Grind fried Sesame seeds, Red Chilies, Jeera, Garlic Cloves and little Salt in Mixer.
- Once Snake Gourd is cooked, add grinded powder to it. Mix and fry it well.
- Check salt for taste.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves.
- Ready…to EAT.

Description:
Gherkins Fry in telugu is called as Dondakaya Vepudu. This can be served with steamed white rice and ghee.
Ingredients:
Gherkins : ½ Kg (Dondakaya)
Green Chilies : 12
Oil : 4 table spoons
Jeera : ½ spoon
Mustard : ½ spoon
Curry Leaves : 10-15 Leaves
Salt : As required
Chili powder : 1 spoon
Turmeric Powder : Little
Coriander Leaves : As Required.
Method of Preparation:
- Cut Gherkins into slices (Vertically slit) and keep it water for half hour.
- Cut Green chilies into slices and keep aside.
- Heat Oil in tava, fry Jeera, Mustard, Green Chilies, and Curry Leaves.
- Add Gherkins Pieces (Squeeze Gherkins pieces to remove water before adding). Mix and fry it
- Wait till pieces are fried and soft. Stir occasionally to make sure pieces are not burnt.
- Add Salt, Chili Powder and turmeric and fry it for few minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Ready…to EAT.
