Onion Pesarattu

Description:

    Onion Pesarattu is one of the Andhra special. Onion pesarattu with palli pachadi is one of the best combination. Pesarattu can also be served with Umpa is known as Umpa Pesaratu.

Ingredients:

    Moong dal: ¼ kg
    Green Chilies: 6
    Ginger: little
    Jeera: ½ spoon
    Oil: As required
    Salt: As required
    Onions: 2

Method of Preparation:

  1. Soak the Moong dal overnight in water in a bowl.
  2. Wash them and grind to make smooth paste along with the Green chilies and ginger.
  3. Add Jeera, Salt and mix it.
  4. Cut onions into small pieces and keep aside.
  5. Heat the pan.
  6. Mix the batter and make a round dosa on pan. And sprinkle onions on it.
  7. Add little oil on it.
  8. Once fried on one side turn on other side and fry it.
  9. Ready…to EAT with Palli Pachadi.

Aloo Parota

Aloo Parota

Description:

    Aloo parota is easy to prepare and tasty to eat.

Ingredients:

    Potatoes : 2
    Wheat Flour : ¼ Kg
    Salt : As required
    Green Chilies : 2
    Oil or Ghee : 2 table spoon
    Carrot : 1
    Jeera : ¼ spoon
    Spinach : 1 small bunch

Method of Preparation:

  1. Boil Potatoes then Peel it and smash it.
  2. Chop Spinach finely and keep aside.
  3. Grate carrot, Green Chilies and keep aside.
  4. Take Wheat Flour in a bowl then add 2 table spoons of Oil / ghee, chopped Spinach, Carrot, Green Chilies, Jeera, Salt, mashed Potato. Mix it well.
  5. Mix the above content with water and knead it to make as soft dough. Leave the dough for about half hour.
  6. Press the dough and make a round Parota.
  7. Heat Pan and fry the Parota on both the sides until golden brown color. Sprinkle little oil on both sides while frying.
  8. Ready…to EAT.

Egg Dosa Varieties

Egg Dosa Variety 1

Egg Dosa Variety 2

Ingredients:

    Urad Dhal : ½ cup (Minapappu)
    Rice : 1 Cup
    Salt: As required
    Egg: 1 (For each Dosa)
    Chilly Powder: As required
    Oil : As required

Dosa Batter Preparation:

  1. Wash urad dhal and rice and soak it for 4 hrs. Grind it into thin paste.
  2. Cover it and keep it aside for 3-4 hrs to ferment.
  3. Add salt to taste and mix it well. Now the dosa batter is ready.

Method of Preparation (Variety 1):

  1. Heat the pan.
  2. Mix the dosa batter and make a round dosa on pan.
  3. Add little oil on it.
  4. Once the dosa is fried lightly, break the egg and spread the egg on dosa.
  5. Sprinkle little salt and chilly powder on it. Once fried on one side turn on other side and fry it.
  6. Ready…to EAT.

Method of Preparation (Variety 2):

  1. Take little dosa mix for quantity of one dosa and break the egg and add it to dosa mix and bet it.
  2. Add little salt and chilly powder to the above mix and mix it.
  3. Heat the pan. Make round dosa on pan.
  4. Add little oil on it. Once fried on one side turn on other side and fry it.
  5. Ready…to EAT.
