Ingredients:
- Drumstick : ½ Kg (Mulagakaya)
Chilly Powder : 100 gms
Salt : 100 gms
Oil : 200 gms
Urad Dal : 50 gms (Minappappu)
Jeera : 50 gms
Garlic : 100 gms
Tamarind : 200 gms
Channa Dal : 50 gms (Senaga Pappu)
Mustard : 50 gms (Avaalu)
Turmeric Powder : 2 spoons
Curry Leaves : 10-20 leaves(as required)
Method of Preparation:
- Clean Drumstick and cut it into pieces.
- Mix 35 gms of Salt, Turmeric powder to Drumstick pieces in a bowl and cover with lid. Keep aside for 2 days.
- In the third day, take water from the Drumstick pieces bowl and soak the Tamarind in that water.
- Grind the Garlic and keep aside.
- Grind the remaining Salt, Chilly Powder, soaked Tamarind Paste and keep aside.
- Heat oil in tava, add mustards, Channa Dal, Urad dal, Jeera and Curry Leaves.
- After above talimpu is cooled, add Garlic paste, Mixture paste (grind paste of Salt, Chilly powder and soaked Tamarind) and Drumstick pieces and mix it well.
- Wait for 2 days and Ready…to EAT.
