Ingredients:
- Fish: ½ Kg cleaned fish slices
Tamarind: 50gms
Ginger Garlic paste: 2 tablespoons
Chilly powder: 1 ½ spoons
Salt : As required
Garam Masala : 2 spoons
Turmeric : ¼ spoon
Oil: 5 tablespoons
Green Chilies: 4
Onion: 4
Curry Leaves: 10-15 leaves
Coriander leaves: little (kottimeera)
Method of Preparation:
- Soak Tamarind in sufficient water for 15 min and keep it aside.
- Grind onion as paste and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in tava, and then add Curry leaves, Onion Paste and green chilies.
- Fry until it turns to golden color.
- Add Ginger Garlic paste to it and fry it.
- Add turmeric, chilly powder, and salt (as required) to above mixture.
- Add fish slices to above mixture and mix without breaking the slices. (You can also marinate fish slices with little chilly powder, salt, turmeric before adding to mixture).
- Add soaked tamarind water to above mixture, mix carefully and cover with lid.
- After 10 min, remove the lid and add garam masala and mix it well.
- Cook until gravy comes closer and thick.
- At last, garnish the fish curry with coriander leaves.
- Ready…to EAT.
