
Ingredients:
- Semolina : ½ Kg (Bombai Rava)
Sugar : ½ Kg
Cashew nuts : 50gm
Ghee : 150gm
Coconut : 1
Cardamom Powder : ½ spoon (Elaichi / Yaalakkaya)
Water : 1 glass
Method of Preparation:
- Grate the coconut.
- In tava add 2 tablespoons of ghee and fry the grated coconut until it comes to light gold color. Keep it aside in a bowl.
- In tava add 3 tablespoons of ghee and fry Bombai Rava lightly.
- Mix fried Bombai rava with fried coconut.
- Fry cashew nuts in 2 tablespoons of ghee in tava.
- Add fried cashew nuts to mixture of Bombai rava and fried grated coconut. Keep it aside.
- In another bowl mix sugar, cardamom powder and water and heat it until turns to light sugar syrup.
- Add the bombai rava mixture to sugar syrup and heat and stir it until it comes closer
- Take out from the stove and let mixture cools down a bit.
- Apply oil/ghee to palms and make round laddus (make it when mixture is slightly hot).
- Ready…to EAT.
